Bridge Street, Saxilby

Our inaugural Property of the Week, this stunning newly built home in Saxilby hits all the modern design cues. Sporting a great open plan kitchen diner with double hinged doors that really let the light in.

Moving across from the kitchen, through the hallway at the entrance, and you arrive at a spacious living room that runs the depth of the house. The room has feature double doors on both sides, leading out to the front and into the enclosed garden behind the property.

Moving upstairs the house has three spacious double rooms, all equipped with ensuites, and a family bathroom with more modern fittings.

As you probably noticed from the lead photo, this property also has plenty of space outside with an extensive driveway and single garage – boasting some prime barbecue real estate in front of those dining room doors.
Denefield, Skellingthorpe

Week 2 took us to an immaculately remodelled and extended 5 bedroom detached home in Skellingthorpe. Situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac, it looks neat and compact on the outside, but once you get through the front door the space really opens up with a glorious open plan lounge-diner-kitchen. The area sports three sets of double doors that really let the light in, and the kitchen is completely new, fitted with top of the range appliances.

All those double doors lead out into the private garden that wraps the rear of the property. The spacious garden offers decking for outside dining and relaxing – and a sauna for when you really want to unwind.

Downstairs also features a double garage, currently being used as a reception space, and a study. Moving upstairs you will find five double bedrooms and a family bathroom.

As you can see, this is a property with space for the whole family and more, coupled with a convenient location and this house really is the complete package.
Westbourne Gardens, Spalding

Week three led us to a more unique family home nestled within close proximity to Spalding town centre. Built on the site of a former brewery, this property delivers character and charm in abundance. You can even find a nod to the land’s origins with a feature window from the original brewery in the kitchen and breakfast room.

Next to the kitchen you will find a spacious living area designed around a central brick column, with double doors that lead you into a spectacular garden room with a glazed roof – allowing natural light to encase the whole area.

Heading upstairs the you have 4 bedrooms off the landing, the master bedroom comes with views of the roof terrace, a built-in dressing room and an ensuite. And yes, there is a roof terrace.

Continuing with the idyllic themes, Leathercote Lodge also boasts a beautiful and private garden behind the property that offers an aria of mature shrubs, trees, a summer house, and patio areas.

Fully enclosed by brick walls and railings, the property offers a lot of privacy. There is a large driveway with plenty of off-road parking, and the small matter of the annexed Bugg Cottage accessible off the driveway – perfect for a holiday let, or an extensive office.

As you can see from the length of this section, this idyllic property comes with many great visual features and multiple versatile living spaces that can handle anything family life wants to throw at it.

Cabourne Avenue, Lincoln

For our final property of the month we take a step away from modern design cues and idyllic gardens – and instead focus on a property that appeals to an investor’s eye.
As this is an investment property focussing on students, space and location are key. On the space front, this property comes with five decently sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a simple shared living space that includes kitchen, diner, and a living room in an L-shape. The main benefit however, is its location – situated just a short walk from the popular Bishop Grosseteste University and all necessary student amenities (supermarkets, shops, KFC, etc.) this fully let investment property always promises to be a popular choice among for students living in Lincoln.

While the pictures aren’t as impressive as this month’s other properties, there is no comparison when it comes to rental yield.
